British photographer Philippa James has lived in Oxford for the past eight years shooting portraits and documentary projects. She studied a degree in visual communications at Kent Institute of Art and Design and worked in the television industry for ten years before starting her photography career documenting weddings. Drawing on these experiences Philippa is now working on her photography practice as a portrait photographer.

I also photograph my everyday, my kids and our adventures. This is how ‘The Motherhood’ was born. The Motherhood is a photography workshop which I run just for mums. It’s where I share my knowledge and help others find their creative vision.
