What a privilege to be the one to shoot Christian + Sophie’s quirky intimate Oxford Town Hall wedding, followed by a reception at The Jam Factory.
Sophie wanted to get married in a church but Christian wasn’t keen. A stunning Oxford Town Hall Wedding allowed them to meet in the middle. It has this wonderful sense of history in it’s bones, and Sophie told me that the organisers there really couldn’t have been any more welcoming and helpful.
Sophie and Christian are two are photographers themselves at More Than Images, they are completely bonkers, they have four children, four dogs, one boat, the biggest hearts, and know how to laugh. A lot.
Sophie: “We had about 30 of our closes friends and family with us, and we were able to spend proper quality time with everyone and have a good jolly!”
“Coming out onto the streets with workers waving out of their office windows to use was pretty special. As was the walk through Oxford, my daughter told me tourists were taking photos of my shotes and us both together.
We headed for The Jam Factory for our reception. They just totally got what we wanted, a fun, relaxed venue serving food to die for! We sat around huge treacle tables and had the most wonderful celebratory meal together.
After the meal we just chilled out on their terrace sipping wine. We left at about 7.30pm and had the most romantic and special night at The Crazy Bear.”
Thank you for sharing your special day with me Sophie and Christian. If you are getting married in the city this summer, take a peek here for more Oxford Weddings inspiration…
