Looking for classical Oxford Wedding inspiration? Look no further!
This Cherwell Boathouse wedding begins with Rosie getting ready with her bridesmaids at The Old Bank Hotel, before heading to The Bodleian Library to marry James. They dance under The Bridge of Sighs, with Rosie twirling in her elegant Temperley Paulette dress while James, looking dapper in his dark blue suit and pink tie from Reiss Brown, smiles. Punting their way to the Cherwell Boathouse, they are showered with confetti before dining outdoors on the riverbank with their guests. Absolutely blissful.

Cherwell Boathouse Wedding Reception
“Before we go off on honeymoon, we just wanted to say a quick thank you for yesterday. It was wonderful to have bagged such a brilliant photographer. Lots of the bridal party were commenting on how impressed they were by you and said how comfortable you made them feel and we obviously think the same! You were also just so lovely to have around – a fun, calm and experienced presence in some moments of frenzy and high emotion!” Rosie + James

If you’re thinking about having a Cherwell Boathouse Wedding take a look at their options here – CHERWELL BOAT HOUSE. Being able to easily punt on the river, with your venue so close, and eat looking out onto the water was amazing. And the food there was fantastic! (I wouldn’t advise this venue if you’ve got lots of small kids at your wedding though!)
